I have been known to do... uh, ::looks with shifty eyes:: goofy fun things at FIRST events, and even on this forum. And I thought about all the artists that are a part of a team, but dont really get to express themselves like the engineering students can. So, I thought that this year might be a good year to get people together interested in this, to see if we can get a weee bit closer. Hopefully it will work.
And the question about it diluting the real message of FIRST is understandable. It's why I put it up there. I wan't to see what most people think of this. I'm sure more adults than younger folk would vote on the 'Diluting FIRST' option. I'd just like to hear any opinions why. That t'would be cool.
I've already promised the web hug peeps we'd be there, and not interrupt it, bringing a collage of all thoughts FIRST related with us, and handing it off to FIRST to put it up at FIRSTplace. That would be kinda neat. So why do people out there feel that events at the FIRST site bringing people to FIRST for FIRST things, rather than Disney. But I see how having events like this at FIRST would be just another distraction. Guess we'll have to wait and see...
