My team actually has black shirts, and I'm hoping the buttons will be shiny black, but that's just me.

whoops sorry, rash generalization, I should have said most teams have a bright shirt. now that I think of it, this year, our team decided to go for a black shirt as well

Re: Operator Badge Colour for 2005

I would bet it won't be green, blue or red, as the rules prohibit those colors from being on the robot, because those might also mess with the cameras, not likely, but it could happen

Re: Operator Badge Colour for 2005

I think that the Championship operators badges will be a yellow color. The past two years the shades have lightened...Florescent Orange 03 and light orange 04 so I think 05 will be yellow, to continue in the 2 year trend. I am not sure about regional badges though. I only have kept 1 of the 5 I have driven at, so I have nothing to compare with. (The one I kept was green.)

Re: Operator Badge Colour for 2005

I say pink for the regionals, and green for the Championship. They tend to recycle the colors pink, orange, and green, for anyone who's noticed.

I'd probably agree with you, except that I don't think they will use green because of the cameras, even though it would probably be hard for the CMUcam to see and follow.
