You can also find lithium grease in your local autoparts store and auto sections of Kmart, Walmart and other similar stores.

Re: Why is the kitbot chassis bowing in horribly

Noise in the KOP gearbox is also do to the fact that the retaining rings on the motor shafts grind on the second 50T gear. If you open the gearbox after you've run it under power you'll see a groove in the gear. The ring is harder and will cut away at the gear, robbing you of power and make a horrible sound. Try carefully grinding the diameter of the retaining ring so it clears the the gear.
