Because Walmart, like other stores, only has minimal staff coverage on the checkout lines.

I seriously do not know why they make a store with so many checkout lines (re: 15-20) if they only have 3 of them open.

What is the point of that??

As for the question at hand, yes.. I do shop there, because simply put, I am a consumer and I look for places with the lowest prices.

Whether or not the way they have the lowest prices is legal, or even moral, is yet to be seen, but if it is illegal in the way they acquire products, and sell them, then in the end they will end up like the other stores like Ames, Caldor's and Bradlees.. and just be another empty building.

(And I liked Ames... )
But in truth, all the stores have their faults. Target is overpriced for most stuff, K-Mart has lots of good stuff but also lots of junk, and Walmart has bad business practices.

But, you know what.. I don't care. I just like most of the rest of the selfish consumers that we all are, just care about getting something for a lower price, and having that item available to me at my convenience and at a close place to my commute.
And I have shopped at all three at one time or another..
