Overlapping output?
Alright, I did a search on the topic, and nothing came up. If there's already been discussion on this, any links would be greatly appreciated.
Anyway. Is there an alternative to using a bunch of delayed printf() statements to debug the robot? Some sort of overlapping output would be awesome =P Ideally, I was hoping there was some third party program which displays the values of different variables. Maybe a GUI of some sort for the robot? If no such program exists, would it be possible to do something along the lines of while(1) { x = someFunction(); clrscr(); cout << x; } (Well, that's what I use in my high school comp sci class, anyway )Any input / advice would be greatly appreciated ![]() |

Re: Overlapping output?
How would what you want to do be functionally different from Dashboard? (Yeah, so it's not in a terminal window. You still get the data, and you don't even have to keep the RC tied to the computer.)
<edit> Bleric, is your team not coming back to Sacramento this year? I remember talking with two guys from your team named Ryan and Rob. It'd be cool if we could see you all again. </edit> Last edited by jgannon : 30-01-2005 at 14:02. |

And our team decided to go to Arizona this year, instead of California. I'll tell Ryan and Rob you said hi, though. Maybe we'll see you at nationals. *Crosses fingers* |
