Band Plugs

I'm going to take your valuable FIRST time to plug some good music, which I highly recommend playing to take your mind off of the greasyness and metallicness of FIRST. I also speak good.

Anyway...

Emo/Screamo/Post-hXc

I really don't like this type of music, but Our Last Night is the exception that proves the rule. They're pretty darn talented, especially considering they are all high school classmates of mine. Well, their screamer is a 6th grader. Makes it all the more impressive. These are five songs. They also have an album that features these songs plus two others--if you want one, contact me, and we'll figure something out. They performed at the Worcester Palladium the other day--hopefully, they'll be signed soon.

Just Plain Sick
I was pretty psyched to find Yngwie Malmsteen on PureVolume. For those of you who are unacquainted with his melodious name, Malmsteen is widely acclaimed as the fastest guitar player in the world. His slow stuff is sick, too. These are three songs that I am unfamiliar with, but they are very, very good, especially "Fire and Ice" and the acoustic solo.

Feel free to post back with any other band plugs, and what you think of these guys.
