Go to Post I suspect the GDC is enjoying watching teams wrap their heads around this ranking algorithm.... and is probably a bit surprised that it has taken teams so long to clue in to the options this ranking system presents to them. - dtengineering [more]

Re: Meeting Length

We meet 6:30Pm-10:00PM on weekdays for build sessions, and 9:00AM-10:00PM on weekends. On Tuesdays, we have official meetings from 7:30PM-8:30PM, where we discuss progress and future events.

Sometimes we stay until around 11:00PM or even midnight, but that's rare now...it'll happen more once we get closer to the end of the six weeks.

Re: Meeting Length

hmmm...
Monday - Thursday 6:30-8:30
Sat - 10-4
sundays no meeting unless needed
night before shipping- 630pm- 720AM (aka school starting)

we meet in "the pit" we have an old ROTC bulding in the back of the school by the baseball fields. it's real long and real narrow. the back section is divided into a musty software room and parts/old robots and field parts.sid
it's the kind of building that no one knows about. people see it at night and only see cars parked outside, lights comming out of the doors and the sound of machines rumbelling

We don't... thank the lord.
On average, 237 has to pay $1,000+ for the 2 weekends that we work.

Why?, thats a very good question. Watertown High School does not see the point in our "club". The sport teams fought with the school about us calling our selfs a team, so we have to call it a club. We receive no funding from the school and they then take money from us to fill their budget problems. I guess you can call it robbery, but we have to deal in order to participate in FIRST.
