Well if you are just creating floats, they do the same thing any other variable not in use does, they take up memory.
The question should be how many floating point operations per second can you do before you start running into problems. I don't think its in the manual, but I'm sure somewhere you can find out how many instructions it takes for the chip to complete each type of floating point operation.
