It seems to me that you might need some lighting holes in your robot for it to be able to be moved out of the building. But I like the name S-110R thats kinda original

Well of course we're going to drill.
In fact we're giving each and every team member a drill and they are going to keep on drilling til our lead engineer tells us to stop.
The X-Cat who drills the most holes without disabling the arm gets a honeymoon sweet in Atlanta all to themselves.

Re: pic: The X-Cats Killer arm design

Really, I doubt that's going to be on your arm. I don't know much about assembly line arms, but I do believe that there are hydraulic hoses on your arm, and I do recall there being something against hydraulics...which also upsets me...we were thinking about adding hydraulics to our old robot to make it hop and bounce around and what not like those pimped out cars. But that arm looks pretty cool, where did you get it and how much was it?

Oh I forgot to use one of these .
It was "bestowed" upon us ( I prefer the term we were cursed by it's presence) and are actually trying to sell it (for $10,000 it's all yours). Our actual arm is much lighter and not as complex or expensive but with all the nutty "teasers this year I thought I'd have some fun with this.

Re: pic: The X-Cats Killer arm design

That is a really, really old FANUC Robot model S-110R. It was one of the original electric servo motor robots. At the time they had both DC and AC versions, but i think this one is an AC servo motor robot. It was primarily used for spot welding cars.
