I believe the GMF was for when General Motors and FANUC worked together. FANUC has very nice robots, I am using them all the time out at Oakland Community College in Auburn Hills. Pretty fun stuff

This is a full view of the thing.

Comes with it's own control panel (the thing is about the size of a cabinet and weighs as much as a large television).

Odd, my dad just got back from Detroit testing FANUC robots... he's an EMC Engineer.
