Re: Pitch of Jideco Motor

Has anyone found out the specs of this gear, or how to mate with it? Help would be greatly apprecieated. Specs are best, but other ideas for mating are good too.

Re: Pitch of Jideco Motor

It looks like the gear on the Jideco is an 8 tooth, mod 2, 30 deg pressure angle. At least that is as close as my poor old eyes could measure. I've attached the Inventor part I made of it.

No guarantees about accuracy, your mileage may vary, do not eat Jideco Gear, etc.

When you open the Inventor file the screen will be blank. Grab the End of File marker (red circle with x in it) in the browser and drag it down to the bottom of the browser. The part should then be visible. Save it. (Moving the marker is a trick which reduces the file size dramatically).
