Exclamation Judges Q's

My team is having trouble with some of the judges questions. Our only problem is not understanding the meaning of the questions. Those questions are:

1. Team's FIRST impact
2. Community description
3. Public awareness

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Judges Q's

Basically its your views through your teams' eyes....

like how do you feel your team does ___________ this well....

same concept just answer the questions fully and collaborate with your team on your answer....a forum will not help you come up with a cumulative answer, but all we can do is help you get ideas....

hope it goes well!!!!

Re: Judges Q's

ok, here's some general information concerning each of these sections on TIMS. Please let me know if I could provide any other information or further clarify anything.

1. Team's FIRST impact
How has FIRST impacted your team? What have your members/mentors/advisors/sponsors/school/community, etc gained from participation in FIRST? How has it changed the outlook and creation of goals, future, work ethic, etc?

2. Community description
What type of community is your team located in? What type of setting is your community - rural/suburban/urban, size - people and area wise, corporate presence. Describe the town/city/school district/school, etc. How welcoming has the community been of your team and how do they support your team?

3. Public awareness
How has the public become aware of your team? What have you done to make the public aware (presentations, newsletters, emails, events, service, etc)? What forms of media (newspapers, newsletters, TV, video, school/government recognition, etc) have you been featured in? What has been the importance/impact of making the public aware?
