Computer Simulation
Greetings from the Positronic Panthers (486)!
Our programming team is currently working on a computer simulation (not 3ds/Inventor) of our robot that will interact with the robot controller so that we can test small code changes for extreme runtime errors without having to take the robot away from the people that are currently building it to upload new code and test. Has anyone done this? Does anyone know where to get a C++ library that will make it easier to work with a COM/Serial/Parallel Port? I think we have the OpenGL parts covered (for a 3d simulation), but any information would be appreciated. Thanks very much for your time, John Drake |
