40a connectors
has anyone found nice 40a quick release connectors that are legal?? i would like to use at least 4 sets, or a large bus for our board to make it easier to remove
any help would be great |

Check out the Anderson single-pole power connectors, also available from McMaster Carr. They look pretty nice.

There are a variety of Anderson Power Products contacts available. Vendors are Terminal Supply, McMaster, Powerwerx or West Mountain Radio (http://www.westmountainradio.com/), my favorite. The 35 amp connectors are good for most purposes. They will fit a #10 wire by slightly opening the contact and are small enough for other wiring. The body is made to fit into other contacts so that multiple contact connectors can be formed with no tools other than the crimper. I don't know if McMaster carries the crimper but the others do and it is well worth the expense.
