What was with the ball?

Ok so what was with the "big ball fight" in the stands and in the aisleway at nats? Why did everyone make such a big deal out of that little ball...i mean there was an actual fight over b/t a crowd of about 9 kids...why?

There was a fight over that ball? That's kinda sad....
Our team ended up just throwing a new ones in for our area since balls never really came to our section much...

u-haaa

yeah, to fight about a ball is ridicilus (this word is spelled wrong i guess, but i don't know any better, yes I am german...).

Out team never got thier hands on a ball eiter. But that's the way it goes with 14,000 people. And I think it fun to play the ball game in general, keep it up guys...

Phil

My team tried several years ago to get balls bouncing in the stands, but we could never keep it up for more than a few bounces. I noticed many little balls going around, but none stayed in the air any longer than ours had. So then when i saw ppl actually fighting to bounce the big ball....i was just happy that someone could actually keep a ball going.
