Two Teams from the Same School?

I was on Team 469 when we started the team a couple years ago. We had Lawrence Tech. listed as our school mainly so we could hold 'non-profit' status for sponsorship/funding reasons. It had nothing to do with it being illegal to have 2 teams from one highschool, however, we were constantly questioned as to the legality of being a team *without* a highschool. For whatever reasons, students started this independent of the school, and the rules clearly state that FIRST teams must be comprised of *high school students*, yet not necessarily have a specific highschool. This is probably as close as you come to having 2 teams from one school, yet our team currently pulls students from many schools around the county, attempting to give all high school kids a chance to do FIRST if they choose.
