Question Quick test, help!

I want to do a quick test, (the CMUcam2) and after reading a post here about a camera exploding I don't want to do anything wrong.

1) I have connected a serial cable from the RS232 Port to the computer.
2) Using a PWM wire, I connected the wire from the "Power Input" (on camera) to PWM0? (on the RC Controller) set to 127.
3) Using a PWM wire I connected a wire from the RS232 (3-pin) to a TTL-232 adapter.
4) Turned the Robot on.
5) Turned the Power Switch on (on the camera).

6) Ran the program on the computer.

I'm most concerned about step #2, What must the PWM be set to?
pwm0? = 127; or pwm0? = ?????

Please reply as soon as possible, am I missing something, am I doing something wrong?
