What did you miss from Nats this year from previous years?

I missed the Air-people that were in front of the field tents last year. The large fabric people which looked liked they were dancing from the giant fans underneath them!

Being only my 2nd Nats, that's what I missed.

What did every one else miss??

Side note, I did enjoy the large fans on the top of the stands of Einstein better than the flags from last year! It's the whole Dean loving motion thing again!

I miss the stuff they did at the closing ceremony last year, with the lasers, fireworks, and especially the FIRE!!! That was the coolest. Mandy Moore was cool, but they shoulda threw the lasers and stuff in there with her.

Smile

Out of the 3 Nationals i've been to this one is by far the most different.....

1.) No fireworks, lasers, and FIRE
2.) No frozen drinks
3.) Date change (had to miss 4 days of school)

Some things that were "better"

1.) Better GM cars
2.) The new "metal first logo" that hanged over the Einstein field

Yeah, they could have set Mandy Moore on fire... wouldn't that have been a great finale.

Now I know I didn't miss anything this year, I mean why go to nats if they don't have frozen carbonated beverages?

Nationals

This being my third FIRST national, it looked liked the recession was still going on.

Things I disliked about nationals.
1. There were no frozen drinks, just those little $1.25 sticks of ice!!

2. The flags have to come back those windmills look so cheap and not fashionable!!!

3. It was so plain outside the tents, it looked like a ghost town.

4. Mandy Moore has to go (Janet Jackson, Lincoln Park, or Alicia Keys would have been alot better) but I still want the fire works, lasers, and the Disney show back.

5. We stayed at the Caribeen Beach Resort and it was horrible. They put all the first teams in Trinidad, to many teams together for several nights don't mix. I miss being separated for quality time with your team.

6. The award ceremony was to long, to many people talking.

What I liked:

1. Nationals was not to big!!

2. Cool GM cars!!

3. Winning General Motors team of the year!! (The first time GM has given this out)

4. Nice cool air tents!!

5. Having the best time of my life with my team mates!!

$1.25 for a stick of ice!!

$20.00 for food evernight!!!

Spending time with my team, priceless!!!!!
priceless priceless
