Q: Can we put two CIM motors on one Speed Controller (Victor 884)?

A: No. However, you can control multiple speed controllers with the same Robot Controller output.
"
I think this Q&A best answers your question, unless I am misinterpretting your question

w ehqave two motors, and only two pmw infput/outputs seem to be working, so we want to use the two victors, one for each motor, but spliced so it gets hooked up to one pmw

As I responded before:
1181: "you can control multiple speed controllers with the same Robot Controller output. "
You are allowed to have two victors to the same pwm.

Re: splicing victors

Also, as for only to of the outputs "working" maybe you need to do some programming to get the rest of them "working"

Re: splicing victors

i was, but we are stuck for time, got one programmer, i almost had it, but they had found the splicer cables that came with the robot kit, and that was quicker, since we are straped for time, since we can't work sunday or monday, due to the school being shut down for sunday and presidents day, and got a lot of things to do b4 midnight tonight, and am kinda mad right now, due to the fact, the ppl that are suppose to be here aren't here yet, and were suppose to be here an hour ago XD, lol, but i am trying to get everything done now T.T

Re: splicing victors

wait, so the kit came with y-harnesses and you didn't know if we're allowed to use them? Seems doubtful that FIRST would spend that much money just to mock us...

...even though they do that with the joysticks...
