Encoder assistance needed
Here are a few lines from Kevins encoder readme.txt
Quote:
This nets one sensor and only one pwm connection. 1. Is this Phase A or Phase B? 2. Where do I find the other? 3. Or how is this physically wired. Thanks, Phil Last edited by phillutz : 19-02-2005 at 11:54. Reason: notification of responses needed |

Re: Encoder assistance needed
Phil
The navigation code is meant to be run with an encoder, not the Hall Effect sensors. Encoders will have Phase A and Phase B outputs, whereas your hall effect sensor will only have one output. To use the Hall effect sensor instead, you will want to use only Phase-A, and then modify the Interrupt Handlers to not check the Phase B output, but to check the direction of the PWM output associated with that hall effect sensor. Sorry if this is rather vague, but hopefully it will help. -SlimBoJones... |
