WOW I never thought of that design with the screw thread.
That is really great.
Good luck at your competition.

Re: Team 759 Cad movie

That chassis design looks familiar, stack attack if i remember correctly. My team thought of a screw at one point, and then decided that it was impossible. I knew you wacky brits would do something crazy. By the way very nice motion for the arm extension, looks a cut above what other teams have been doing. Can't wait to see you guys at the regional.

Re: Team 759 Cad movie

Also, the screw should fit between 2 tetras so we dont have to drop it from above.

It is similar to it, i would post a picture but i dont seem to have any at the moment. We did use the stealth hedgehog (the stack attack robot) to test stuff on, such as whether it would flal over when you stuck a tetra on the top.

Bwah, our reputation precedes us, I see. Thanks for the comments, everyone. And yes, this year's 759-bot is similar to the Stack Attack "Stealth Hedgehog" robot in quite a few ways. Which is why we seem more or less settled on naming this year's robot after the Stealth Hedgehog.

We had this idea but couldn't get our screw system working well enough to beat out the other ideas.

Bravo!
