I Thought this was a good idea origionally, but I think this discussion is really about drive teams who will be switching back and fourth between the red and blue side. Let's hope they can remember which tetras to pick up!
The announcers will probably use a red/center/blue, front/middle back system, but it won't be relevant to the drive team.

So the universal system won't be universally universal!

How about - Drive Team Relative Goal Location Designations.
