pit arrangments

Hello to all you teams out there. I am just wondering about how big the pit areas are ( on average ) for each team at the regional events. I want to build a workbench / storage unit that will fit inside the dimensions of our pit area and will maximize the space given. If anyone can let me know, that would be great .

Thanks,

dan
