How could we forget 'Contact'?
It's not specifically about engineering, but it is easily one of the best sci/fi movies and my personal favorite. Also, 'The Dish' is a pretty good one. Its about the guys who ran a radio telescope in Australia during the Apollo 11 mission, and where responsible for receiving the radio and television transmission of the landing. Not a drama, not a comedy, it's more 'cute' than anything. But if your a fan of Sam Neil, or just like a quiet feel good movie, it's worth it. -Andy A.
