One of those meetings, we just started saying "HHHEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYY!!!" to each other... anyone hear it before Friday morning?
I first heard it at the team party durning "Honey, I Shrunk the Audience." (~9:30?)

Oh, and: "HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY!"

HHHHEEEEEYYY!!!!

We used that long before then....

1998, after our team won the national championship a teacher got up on stage and started yelling "HHHHHHHEEEEEEEYYYYY!!!!" and eventually the place went nuts...althought i wasnt there in 1998, I heard this story from multiple people who were....

Plus it was also pretty cool while walking around disney world on sunday doing that to people we saw.

the yelling of heeeeeeyyyyyyy has been a long tradition at my school for who knows how long. you can hear the outbreak almost 5 times a day in school...mainly in lunch when a lunch lady drops a pan...very cool when the whole school just starts yelling

Yes, 862 was the team which started the "AAAA!!!" chant (and yes it is the letter A and not Hey but its all good). We actually started this last year at the Great Lakes Regional. At the time we were team 465 ( we lost our sponsor this year and found visteon along with a new number, 862). If anyone was there they might rember that. A team had a beach ball and various things that they were throwing out into the crowd. We started shouting "AAAA!" to get their attention. It worked and a phenomenon was started. We did this all through nationals last year and continued the tradition this year at the Western Michigan and Great Lakes regionals, and of course, Nationals. We actually concidered changing our name to The "A" Team but it got shot down. Many people who stopped by our pit (*cough* 128 *cough*) may have seen our "AAA!!" sign and our "AAA!" buttons, one of which had mr. t pittying fools who didn't say "AAA!!". So that is the history of "AAA!". Hope you enjoyed the story and will spread the truth throughout the community of first. (can someone please gag me now?)

I was wondering why your team had a serious Mr. T thing going on, but now I know. Were you at MGM that night Trashed20?
