Fire Alarm @ BAE

I was just informed that their was just a fire alarm at the BAE Regional. The chairman's award was being presented and it went off and all the power was shut down.

Re: Fire Alarm @ BAE

No, it was just a false alarm. however nobody took it lightly...and everyone was orderly and proceeded outside the arena
i feel bad for 501...they were announced as chairmans, and then like everybody had to leave...

Wink Re: Fire Alarm @ BAE

haha, it was pretty funny, we thought they must be doing some sort of special presentation with sirens and blinky lights for chairmans until the voice came on "Please Remain Calm and Proceed to the Nearest Exit" , but it went well clearing all those teams out. Poor West High though, they won chairmans and noone was there to cheer.

So you all should leave a little congratulations to this awesome team, which has amazing team members which go above and beyond. This award for them was a long time coming , they are an amazing team full of spirit and gracious proffessionalism. Congratulations Team 501! And as Dean said, you guys were so hot you cleared the building!

Re: Fire Alarm @ BAE

yes, congrats to 501.

My thought was that they were stopping everything for the presentation and that it was like a song or something, because the alarm lights look kind like strobes. I mentioned to some of our mentors i felt bad for them...right when they get the most prestigious award, everyone leaves

Re: Fire Alarm @ BAE

Indeed it is too bad that the fire alarm went off. Regardless, a big congrats goes out to everyone on 501, not only for winning the Chairmans, but also for their great job as alliance partners.
