On saturday night a couple of us got pizza at the hotel. we didn't finish it all and the other peopl that got it were in a different room from me and they kept it. At 7 in the morning i was banging on thier door for the pizza. After 2 minutes of that they opened the door, threw a bucket of water at me, pushed me, closed the door, and laughed histerically as i slipped and fell on my butt. I have to admit it was pretty stupid. Still kinda funny though

While we were at the GM Test Track, the engineers decided to play a joke on the seniors on our team by child-locking them in a Vibe.

I am not sure which is stupider: (1.) Telling the seniors that the Vibe's back seat is as big as the Aztec's or (2.) actually convincing them to crawl into the backseat to check.

Sunbathing in the Rain

Well it wasn't really stupid just different... we sat out by the pool in our swimsuits an yelled at harmless on lookers while we waited for the rain to stop so we could swim.. It was fun

Re: Sunbathing in the Rain

I did something like that when I was at Disney for the first time when I was 6. I was waiting in line for the teacups and it started raining. So what's a little kid to do hen he's bored of waiting in line and it starts to rain but jump in every puddle I could find and sing the words to, "Singing in the rain"!!! HE HE HE!! I think I got a free shirt out of that escapade too!!! I was too wet for my parents to carry after that!!! Need dry clothes!!!

ummm, we had a pull out from the wall bed in our hotel, and we would have people push us into it, and then rock back and forth until it fell to the floor that was covered with pillows and blankets to avoid noise. Lots of fun for stupid people in large groups

We burned a stuffed wombat.

It's kindof an interesting story. The week before Nats, a couple of our team members (myself included) went on the school band trip to Cleveland. At the zoo there, one kid, Dave, bought a stuffed wombat.

He decided to bring it to Nationals, where it was stolen every five minutes by a different teammember. On Friday night, one of our remarkably intelligent seniors decided to hide the wombat while we went to dinner. He put it in the lampshade, but then, as he left the room, decided to leave the lights on for security's sake.

When we returned to the hotel, their room and the surrounding area was filled with the lovely scent of melted plastic. Noone knew what it was, though not too long after, we discovered it was the wombat. After some time on the lamp, half the wombat was completely melted away. It looked really weird.

I think that probably qualifies as stupid, considering the hotel could have burned down.

Incase you are wondering, yes, I am from Cleveland!

I have so many stories of stupidity from nats. Probably the best was when we were outside of Honey I shrunk the audience and some genius decided to go swimming in the fountain. Very funny. Then someone on our team was playing in the little pads that shoot water to the next pad. They were jumping into the path of the water, and soaking everyone within a ten foot radius. When we were in the stands holding seats for closing ceremonies, we started a HUGE waterfight, which soaked all the people sitting around us. Next stupidest and tied for best was when we played around on the wheelchairs at MGM. Wheelchairs in the rain and locked brakes? Not a good idea. We pushed one unfortunate team member at about 15 mph who then locked up the brakes and flew forward onto the ground, nearly crackin his head open. I was pushing one guy and he flew off a curb and onto our face. We had the greatest luck that our team captain happens to wander across us while fooling with the wheelchairs. We had ice fights in the all-star elevators, we jumped off the second story balcony, and generally were very crazy. Oh wait. One of the girls came out of her room to talk to me and a couple of guys and locked herself out of her room, while our team captain and co captain were out violating curfew. We sat out there for about an hour before room service opened the door. Nats were the best. I have never had so much fun!!

Luggage? Thats nothing....a kid from our team jumped off the 2nd floor and landed in the grass because some kid was chasing him with a trash can full of ice....yeah i think that one is probably one of the top stupidest things ive seen at nats this year...

-DUCKY-

Hey this is Katie from team 269,

I am from the team that had all of those sleeping kids on the ground. I was one of them. Everyone on my team was so tired, and bummed out. There were many teams that came by and blew bubbles on us, and threw things at us. It was not fun. I bet it was a sight though.

Talk to everyone later,
Katie
