I can honestly say I have none because my computer doesn't have sound and I don't have enough patience to wait for the songs to download.

7.74 gigs, 1,803 files.... a bit of quick math, thats on average 4.43 megs per song.

That brings me to another question: when you guys download/rip songs, do you care about quality? Personally, I go for the bigger files - those are usually at 192 or 160 kbps rather than 128 kbps. I can hear a difference between 128 and 160 or 192, while people have told me they can't. Do YOU hear a difference, and if yes, do you try and go for the better quality, or do you don't care? Or, do you have no clue what I'm talking about?

Most of mine are either 128 or 192...

I can hear a difference, but it's not big enough for me to really care...

It depends what kind of music I'm downloading. When I rip a cd that I know has very precise chords, or powerful songs, like the entire "Wish You Were Here" album by Pink Floyd, then I rip at 190, otherwise i'll go for 128.

I have about 170 mp3s and a 4 gig hard drive. *cries*

Also, WinMX is GOD.

I can get 7 kb/s on my 56k out of that thing. Slow? Pfft. Morpheus has recently turned to crap, and Kazaa... well, I'm sure we all know about that already.

WinMX

I think WinMX is the best...runs fast and it has everything i want....(dont like not having a pause/resume feature thougH )

For an MP3 count i think i have somewhere between 200-300, but i only have about 10 on my computer..

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought gnutella, kazaa, and morpheus all use the same network? Atleast in the old morpheus, I've downloaded from people named "xxx@kazaa.blahblahblah," and the new morpheus says that it connects to the gnutella network. Besides the whole spyware bundled in Kazaa and the new Morpheus losing all of it's advanced search options (*points back to my MP3 Quality post*), is there a difference between the two in terms of the network?
