[URC]: Name adjustments

first thing... After discussing the name a lot, we have decided to drop "FIRST" from the name of the game, making the official name "Ultimate Robot Challenge", or "URC" for short. We made this decision because we do not want to be mistaken for a division of FIRST, such as the FIRST Lego League. We want it to be clear that this is people making a game about FIRST, not FIRST making an official game about itself.

also, the game will no longer be referred to as the "FIRST Video Game" or "FVG". One reason for this is the use of "FIRST" in the name, but another is that we feel the phrase "Video Game" is misleading. It sounds like this is something designed for Gamecube, PS2, and/or Xbox. We don't intend to ever release this game commercially.

you will notice many things changing to accomodate the new name setup. the sub-forum has already been renamed, and any threads created from here on will have the tag [URC] instead of [FVG]. It may take us a while to change the name everywhere, and some places may never be changed (our sourceforge unix name, "furc", is unchangeable, and "urc" is taken by another project anyway).

lol we're working on it. the wiki may be moved to a totally different domain soon anyway...

The name 'furc' is likely to remain in many hardware and software locations. I, personally, prefer it. Many scripts and configurations depend on the location 'furc'. The benefit of renaming it is not worth the trouble to move.
