You guys rock

I was up there and saw it all, Rage was an amazing bot. Your speed and ball manipulation were nearly unmatched. Our aliance was one of the only ones that could win on balls or goal depending on who we sent out. I loved that u could sit in our scouring zone with a goal and still do balls, (winning a few matches). And i personally liked one aspect of your bot best of all. While often overlooked, that little hand of your was the second best proviscus i saw in the whole competition (right after our own), seeing that little hand cross the line at wierd angles was always a thrill to see.

Props also to our new friend (former foe) beatty. Your guys are the best multiple goal, and robot hauler (67) I have ever seen. I'm glad we could make up for nationals (lol), we know u helped to get us picked and we appreciate it. Your tongue was cool too, ( but i liked the min bot from grand rapids better myself).

Much thankz.

What's your opinion of the 173 alliance

Thanks for the positive comments, we were just one of the many many "great" robots in Newton, nevermind Florida.

Though I think a better question would be what's your opinion of the 173, 71, 66 alliance. Obviously we won it all, but we wouldn't have even won the Newton division without any one of us. What was your reaction when we picked 71, 66? or when we almost lost to the 176 alliance? etc...

Just a thought... granted its a moot point...

to be perfectly honest, i believe that if you didn't pick 71, you wouldn't have won. we have beaten you in a qualification match. and i believe we could have beaten you in the finals if you didn't have 71. we swept the quarter and semi finals only to get swept by 71 in the finals. both matches you guys had the same strategy. i know our friends at 716 could have kept you away from the balls and goals, like they have done before at new haven, but unfortunately, they had some battery and transmission problems. 66 was a strong robot too, they were able to push us around a little, well, enough to break one of our wheels. i still have to congradulate you on being one of the top teams though, good job.

by the way, that tether you added looked a little familiar...

in 173s defense i think it was a well matched alliance...... you see, 173 may have needed 71 in that one match, but im sure there where others where 173 saved the match (i saw at least one)...... and 66 was strong enough to keep it smooth

a little bitter

I was thrilled you picked us for your alliance, but i was incredibly dusapointed that u picked 71 (at first). I has spent weeks thinking of beatty's small flaws and how to exploite them. And frankly, i thought they could be beaten fairly easily, and we were just the bot to do it, I;m glad to see that instead of turning um around, we could keep um from gettin turned.

After that first match, i was sure we were gone, little did i know how effective our alliance was when used properly. We were unbeatable.

I think hitting the goal really hard just as beatty hits it works a lot better than just trying to turn them. But thats just me. 173 had a good robot i won them the finals (if only fluffy could pull as well as she pushes).

When I first saw your robot at Newton, I emediatly made a note that if we were top 8, you guys would be top choice. You did it all, this is what Dean and Woody thought up when they made the game, a ball handaler that moves and handles the goals effortesly.

Great job.
