That's a little premature, methinks. We still haven't seen many of the other powerhouse teams, like 47, 71, and 111, and it's very likely that we may all be surprised by a team we've never heard of.

Re: Florida Regional NASA Webcast is online

Florida regional is turning out to be very exciting.

The first alliance has swamp and think PINK in there; they are definitely a contender. But something tells me that we going to see a lot of exciting matches before we get a winner here

It's not really okay in autonomous, and if the refs find it to be offensive, they'll be sure to warn or DQ the offending alliance. It's more likely to be overlooked in autonomous, but if it's a problem, it will be dealt with. If you're referring to 348, I didn't think that they were going all that fast, and I'm sure that red was happy to get the bonus point that they scored.

On an unrelated note, did anyone just see team 386 almost score a vision tetra by pure chance? That was awesome.

After being to Sacramento, and being on Curie last year, this announcer seems almost lethargic compared to Mark Leon.

Re: Florida Regional NASA Webcast is online

Just for the sake of it.

If you were playing against the florida #1 alliance, what wil be your strategy right now. Its hard to win against such a fast capping alliance.

Pin them. As long as you can overpower them and outrace them you will be able to keep them from scoring. I guarantee you they are no match for the HexaMax R2 2 speed six motor drive.

Only play defense if they come into your zone. Otherwise, just try to keep up with them. It has been shown that you can't really win this game with defense. I would take a shot at 179 or 233 if they came for the blue home zone, but otherwise, I'd keep filling up 1402, and scoring as much as I could.

Also, it might not be a bad idea (strategy-wise, though not necessarily GP-wise) to try to bait the attacking robot (179 or 233) into bumping you in the loading zone.
