Re: 05 World Wide High Scores
At GLR, the highest score I saw (our teams match) was like a 58 or something (no penalies) if I remeber correctly...There were quite a few 40+ scores though. And some low ones, like our 4-3 match...Our robot broke and couldn't do anything the whole match after an alliance member capped one goal..the opposing alliance did the same, but managed to drop one, on accident, or so it appeared, under a goal. :-|

Re: 05 World Wide High Scores
GLR's high score (I think) was 62 by our alliance, I wouldn't be surprised I'm mistaken, though - there were definitely plenty of good matches.

Re: 05 World Wide High Scores
High score at PWN(Portland) regional was 82 by team 1087, 997 and 1566. I think during this round 997 was disabled because of some problem with their robot. So 82 was scored by only two teams.

Re: 05 World Wide High Scores
Our team has a small version of the high score... more of most penalties. We got 70 points of penalties in one game without being disqualified or disabled.

Re: 05 World Wide High Scores
Yeah, we scored 112, our opponents scored 13, no penalties on either side. In our alliance in the quarter-finals (980, 498, 96) we came close to all 9 again, but 980 got hit by our opponents and dropped the tetra to cap the middle of our opponent's row, so we finished the match with 84. Both were crazy matches.

Re: 05 World Wide High Scores
All 9 goals capped, one of them twice, and two tetras underneath goals. One of our opponents was a second or 2 from capping one of their home goals and reclaiming it. It would have been great to have gotten that last cap in the 2nd match and have two 100+ point matches. We still had 4 of our matches over 60 points though. I just wish we could go to another regional or nationals, we had virtually no practice for this regional.
That was an awesome semis, it should have been the finals, was alot more exciting. If we could have gotten that last tetra off of our arm it would have been a tie for the 3rd game! |

Re: 05 World Wide High Scores
At the Pacific Northwest Regional, my team (492) along with team 1595 and team 604 scored a 92 in quarterfinals 1.2 and scored a 89 in finals 1.2. Those were the 2 highest scores at our regional.
