I would also like to say that that was an amazing match! If you missed the match, the red alliance (228, 236, 195) had dominated the field, owning 8 of the 9 goals, and getting 6 rows, and having at least two tetras on every goal. All three robots were solid that match at scoring. I'd like to thank 236 and 195 for making that a reality. Also, that was the second time that 228 set the record high score at UTC (The previous was 87 pts.) I'll try to have the video of that match up on our website soon for everyone to see!
Also, RAGE had a good alliance in the elimination rounds, beating ours in the semifinals. Congrats to 126, 69, and our sister team 1071 Max. That was a great play by Max by taking the tetras off 230's bot. I also have the video of that and will have it up on the Gus site soon. And I also like to congradulate our alliance partner 236 Techno Ticks for winning the Chairman's Award. UTC was a great competition, and to everyone: a job well done!

I don't fully buy into the 'we're all winners' concept. That is a broad statement that doesn't really say much. How did we become all winners? What did we do to become winners? Pay an expensive registration fee and participate in a robotic competition? - JaneYoung [more]
