Complete randomness on the way to this weekends regionals.

I just got off the phone with one of the Drivers from my team, user name Scott Shaw 237 here on CD.

Apparently as they pulled into a rest stop on their way down to NJ for the regional this weekend, they saw a person on the bus next to them with what seemed to be a brand new 2005 Team 237 shirt.

Could it be? Could their eyes be decieving them? Was it just someones reflection in the windows? Or was it something else???

As they looked closer, they saw 2 people they sort of recognized.

One was someone who looked like Dez250 (CD poster) and the other looked like Ogre (from Team 173) also a poster here on CD.

As they moved closer, they realised what was described to me as "the most random thing that ever happened to me" by Scott.

The bus next to them and it's occupants were part of the convoy to Maryland for the Annapolis Regional, and it was Team 173 RAGE.

So, I guess then some members of my team walked on RAGE's bus and said Hi...

Talk about randomness huh?

Has anything like that ever happened to any other teams?

Re: Complete randomness on the way to this weekends regionals.

It was complete randomness. Liz, a girl on our team, looked over and spotted the team shirt. I then noticed it was worn by Liza Rodriguez and I looked across from myself to notice Jeff (ogre) and dez sitting in a seat. My brother (K. Shaw), Ted (Ted Boucher) and myself ran off of our bus and ran onto their bus where we said hi to everyone and probably made Dez and Jeff look at each other wondering why they are seeing me yet again. Good and random times held by all.

On the way home from the PNW regional we stopped at a popular fast food place sixty miles from Portland for some dinner. There were at least four teams trying to eat at the same time. The civilians were dazed and confused.

We also saw team 341 on the way home from Maryland at a rest stop somewhere(I was asleep on the way to the rest stop). This was really wierd considering there was 2x the gold in the place, sinc 341 won Chesepeake's Chairmans and we won in the finals.
