Re: Number of games

It depends on the size of the competition. For GLR, teams had 9 matches each, and for other regionals, teams had anywhere between 10 and 12. You'll find out how many matches you'll be playing when you get to the event.

VCU had 8, except one who had 9 (and received #1 seed because of it, we were later told by judges it was an accident). There were 62 teams at that regional, so I guess you can interpolate a bit to figure out for other regionals.

The only problem with a small regional is with the cuing being called too early. At times, there were only ten minutes to fix your robot or minor adjustments. The longest break we had was around two hours, which was the lunch break. I can't imagine Waterloo with only 24 teams
