Don't worry about Alex , i will make sure whatever we do is safe. this will be my 3rd bot i have worked on and i take special care to make sure everything is thought about. the frame is going to be 1" square steel, welded and gusseted. along with everything else built in the RIT machine shop. I don't believe in "HACK engineering" so everything will be top notch. i will post some screen shots of our CAD once everything is finalized. It turns out i have alot of free time now that finals are over.

the only problem i might have is that assuming my DARPA Grand Challenge team gets accepted i won't be at the competition, but then again it is the process of building that is the most fun and important.
