It is indeed customary to have non-Jews at a seder, and we would welcome anyone who wished to attend.
Seder in Hebrew means 'order'. It refers in this case to the rituals involved in re-telling the story of our people's liberation from bondage in Egypt. We have, in modern times, also used the setting to re-tell more recent stories of liberation...such as the Warsaw Ghetto uprising as well as our responsibilities to other people's struggle for freedom.
