Looks like I'm the first person to post who was actually there...I was out on the field as part of the referee line for hand-shaking during the awards, so I had a front-row seat. The look on his face was absolutely priceless...sort of like the one you linked to, Billfred, but a little more on the "stunned and speechless" side. I've lived with the guy for close to a full year now, and I've never seen him so completely at a loss for words. Congratulations Karthik, and kudos to 1114 for the nomination!

What a day, thats all I can say. yesterday Karthik won the WFA, I was so happy, I almost ran out on the field and jumped on him! Although, I did jump on Karthik today when we won our Rookie Inspiration Award.

There are many awards in this world that I know Karthik would never have a shot at winning...most notably, a Grammy.
 However, the "Woodie" and Mr. Kanagasabapathy were made for each other. Congratulations, buddy, and keep up the great work! |
