Talking Mascot Anti-Defamation League

This thread is dedicated to all those hip hop happenin mascots out there. I want to know who's the hottest mascot and why. Pictures of mascots doing crazy poses or just plain getting down and funky are more then appreciated

Re: Mascot Defamation League

Oooo! I'm the mascot! Yay Huskies!

I think there is no single mascot that defines pure talent... Mascots deserve recognition! (sorry that I don't know who's in there):

469 Gorilla: Lotsa spirit and energy! Not to mention he/she had the courage to go on the field during the Detroit regional and graciously get kicked off the field by a referee, in front of everybody! But the thing is, he/she danced and skipped the whole way through! Lotsa mascot credit there!

904 D Cube: One of the most original mascots, and very packed with energy too! How can you see through that thing?

33 Killer Bee: Dances with spirit, even when his/her own team isn't competing! Cute and fuzzy mascot too!

I apologize that I don't know which team you came from, but the Yeti (white fuzzy beast) was always in that suit, and always full of spirit! Go Yeti!

818 Steel Armadillo: Very original costume! I love it! Who made it?

There is obviously more wonderful mascots that are out there! I apologize if I missed you! You are all fabulous and full of spirit! From the Huskie dog... See you all at Nationals!

Re: Mascot Anti-Defamation League

I'm our team's mascot (the cardinals- Catholic school, get it?!) a lot of the time... It was soooooo much fun walking around in that thing at the Manchester Regionals- EVERYBODY noticed the "big red chicken" (as one 3rd grade lego-league kid said once). I don't think FIRST events would be anywhere close to what they are now if the mascots weren't around...

Re: Mascot Anti-Defamation League

Here is a picture of our mascot Bee Boy and the other two contenders for the position. We thought that this year we would have to volunteer a freshmen, but Logan here stepped up for the second year in a row. The bee suits are made for 5 year olds, but we can fit a couple of sophomores into them. I got to give it to them, they are brave souls and there is now way I could ever wear that costume.

Re: Mascot Anti-Defamation League

We have a mascot suit that I wore at FLR. It was all good but i scared a little girl. We have giant blow up martians and we have a person making two mascot suits that wont scare the children

Re: Mascot Anti-Defamation League

The Techno Tick's mascot is cool. I saw a big giant blue tick wandering around a couple regionals and Nats last year (don't remember which ones, sorry). Big giant, seemingly totally ripped blue tick. That's about as awesome as you can get!

[edit]I'm off to find a picture...[/edit]

1097 has both our marauder, and we also have the "space suit" that our mentor (an SR71 pilot) used for missions, our second mascot.

Re: Mascot Anti-Defamation League

Go Chickens!

I can say I have been the mascot..... but only because everybody takes a turn during competitions for 45min shifts.

I think the best part of being in mascots are finding other mascots and having dance offs, fights, etc.

A close second is walking up to a group hacking it up, playing soccer, w/e and schooling them while in the chicken suit.
