April Fools...Who Fooled You?

So, it's time to bring out the gullibility and be proud of it. What's been done to you today?

1) The google storage thing went up, and I really thought it was doing it just like that and got alarmed and almost sent an email to support about it

2) I got convinced by someone that we have another spring break next week

3) About 20 461 tattoos were placed by some freinds staying at my house...right onto my stomach while I was asleep. How on earth they got them onto my stomach I'll never know, but I just know I woke up and I had a lot of 461 tattoos on my stomach. Team Pride! Yah! What's scary is I dunno where they found those...probably at MWR.

Re: April Fools...Who Fooled You?

On an online game I play, they changed the map so that the post/pillars/whatever spelled out, in braille, "April Fools."

That's the extent of it.

--EDIT/PS--
They didn't tell us what or where the messege was, just that their was one. I'm rather proud that I found it.

Re: April Fools...Who Fooled You?

I was on my way to school to leave for the GTA Regional. On the radio, the DJ said "Breaking news this morning: there is an end to the NHL lockout!" He said there would be a round robin tourney starting next week and there would be a Stanley Cup, I was too tired to think and I believed him. That's 2 years in a row now.

Teammate told me that there would be no free food at Team social here in SC, which I just got angry over cause I don't much like the team social anyway. But there was. So its all good.

Re: April Fools...Who Fooled You?

I never got fooled...I was at youth group, and our youth leader, Jordan, gave us all these index cards with a joke to play on everyone. Mine ended up being this: "You have to limp--get someone to ask what's wrong and tell them you wrecked your bike when a mail truck accidentally ran you off the road." Oy that Jordan.

My friend Rebecca almost fooled me. She had to cough hysterically, and when the person got her water and came back, she'd cough and say "Thanks, but--April Fools!" =D Was funny. I didn't believe her, though she really was good at it.

No one else could get me. Only Rebecca became close.

Also, my friend RJ from Team 173 attempted to pretend to be a robot on my voicemail, and try to tell me there was a tornado coming into my town. >_<; what a nerd.

Re: April Fools...Who Fooled You?

Lets see who fooled me (just a couple of Message boards, but I wont give out names)

MB #1. Gave users the chance to have custom avatars for one day (probably the most cruel of them all).

MB #2. Inverted the colors of the entire message board as well as having a picture of Dr. Wily (from Megaman) in a bikini (sick! sick! sick!)

MB #3. Made up some lame stories of Playstation2's getting recalled due to the recent lawsuit that was brought on them as well as made false stories of an upcoming Phantasy Star 5 and Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst coming to Gamecube.

As you can see, I really am sick of April Fools after dealing with it for 18 years of my life.

Re: April Fools...Who Fooled You?

The Palmetto refs fooled our alliance in our first match yesterday pretty hard.

(Actually, it was just a scoring mistake--the other alliance scored sixty penalty points, which were erroneously attributed to us. We got it fixed, though. )

Re: April Fools...Who Fooled You?

team222badbrad got me pretty good last night. We were on IM and we were talking about Nationals. Just out of the blue he gives me the bad news that camtunkpa (our drive team coach) would not be attending nationals due to work issues. I was flippin' out jumpin' all over the place. Now, I wasn't having a good night in the first place, but five minutes later I realized that it was April 1st. Good job Brad!
