Using multiple robots at a display?

Alright everyone, I have a little question to ask you all: Is it possible to use two different robots from your team at the same time to display what they both do simultaneously, and how would I do this? We're attempting to show (and drive) our 2004 and 2005 robots off at school, and we need a way to drive both at once.

We've attempted to change the team number, but we don't know exactly how to get the team number to change on the robot side. Any suggestions?

If you need to operate two robots at once, just change the channel number.

Tether the robot after you change the team number switches on the OI. That will "teach" the robot controller the number.

You'll also want to change radio channels on one of the controllers. For the 2005 system, setting the high bit of the team number will let you do that. For the 2004 system, you'll need something plugged into the competition port that can activate the "practice" pin (search the Chief Delphi forums for "dongle"). Then flip some of the channel switches until you power up with something other than channel 40.

by driving two robots at the same time you mean by using one set of sticks or using 2 seperate setups.

for safety reasons I would rather have 2 people driving the 2 robots that way everything is simple, driving 2 robots with one set of sticks is really a no no espicially if the robots are built differently and programmed drifferently.

If you still want to go through with it i think the team number and channel need to match or just the channel.

That wasn't the question, re-read it.

Also if you're doing this - don't do anything weird like mixing the years of radios or I/Os etc. it doesn't always work.
