April Fools...Who Fooled You?

My mentor fooled me. He and the drive team decided to get a hotel near the venue by themselves because the team couldn't afford the hotel thing this year. He called me about 8:00 and in a slurred voice, told me the they were all drunk. The phrase freaking out doesn't even begin to describe my reaction...

Being the most gullible person on my team and the fact I forgot it was April 1st I believed Dave when he said that the teams who had been at the WMR all years would get automatic entry... gah... I need to work on that gullibility factor... and there was the fact I was still semi asleep...

Auto entry into the elimination rounds, for clarification. He had me going for a minute too, as I wondered how that would work!

The pit announcer at Vegas convinced us that the pits were closing in 5 minutes, and this was at 3:55, so we started to pack up. Then realized that the pits closed 2 hours later, evil.

in my english class, we had this one student ask the teacher to make and enlargement of this thing on the photocopier. While she was gone, everyone in the class had turned their watches 30 mins ahead and we turned the clock on the wall 30 mins ahead and we even went as far as turning the clock on her computer 30 mins ahead as well.

when it was time to go (or so the clock said) we all left, walked around the school, and then came back (cuz she could've gotten fired for letting us out that early) and we all said in unison "April Fools".

Did you hear about what happened at the Tokyo zoo? The zoo director at the Ueno zoo in Tokyo dressed up as a giant penguin and walked around the penguin area. No one, including the penguins themselves, was fooled, but it was a hilarious prank nonetheless!

I think he had a lot of the teams going a little bit when he said that... but I was ready to tackle him when he said April Fools...

While I'm not French, I prefer to celebrate Poisson D'Avril instead of April Fool's Day. Anyone can play pranks and make stuff up, but it takes a lot of work to tape fish to people all day.

You missed it Poisson D'Avril is just the French version of April Fool's Day. It's on April 1st, too.

WildStang engineers tried to fool us saying that parts of our playing field got destroyed and there was fire people there and stuff. i didnt believe it cuz i always get fooled..but i guess sum of it was true and that part of our electrical bench got burned. hmm

on the friday of the GTA regional...my two best friends caroline and harriet told me that they could only stay until 2 that day and couldnt come at all on the saturday...i was so shocked that i started screaming (and thats hard to do at 6:30 in the morning)...caroline started laughing and shes like "APRIL FOOLS" im like "you realize im not awake at this time...dont do that to me" ugh it was so mean...oh and about the end of the lockout...if that was true then I would have put my Toronto Maple Leafs flag back up on my dads car and he really hates it when its up because it makes alot of noise

Just out of the blue he gives me the bad news that camtunkpa (our drive team coach) would not be attending nationals due to work issues. I was flippin' out jumpin' all over the place.
