Actually, if FIRST expects to use the VEX challenge as a starter program for the FRC, it would be helpful for sudents to see what the larger robots did the year before. It will give them a little bit of a head start, since they are most likely just learning about how to build a robot (not completely true for this year...but hopefully for future years). I would not guess either way if they will use the previous year's FRC game or if they start to develop FVC games seperately or have the same game in different scales. They could do any of those and have them each work out very well.

So... it is not EXACTLY 1/3 scale then eh? 6 ft wall? I don't remember the wall last year being 18 ft tall..

Makes sense to not scale them though.. what good would a 2 ft wall be to follow the same rules as last year? It would be easy as pie.
