Exclamation NEW Science and Technology Council

I thought I would share what I hope will be great news for FIRST in Rhode Island.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - The governor is scheduled to sign an
executive order today that will create a science and technology
advisory council. The council will be co-chaired by professors Jeff
Seemann of the University of Rhode Island and Andries van Dam of
Brown University. It will advise the governor and General Assembly
on science and technology matters.

As you may or may not know until last season there has been only one team in 'Lil Rhody. Team 121, The Rhode Warriors have been the only FRC team in RI since the inception of FIRST. Last year our state grew to two teams and this year a third was formed. I hope this council will help FIRST grow in RI over the next years to come.
