Re: Human Player Question

I'm not quite sure. My team had some discussion about this, also. we think they stand at a corner of the field.
Ya' know in the diagram of the field, how theres the red mat, then the grey mat, then the blue mat? We *think* that the human player will be allowed to stand anywhere on the mat that is the color of their alliance, though preferably kinda near the corner of the field.

Re: Human Player Question

@ teh scrimmage, hp stood mostly towards the corner of the field, but as per the rules, could not break the plane of the field. A few teams had a person who handed the balls to the hp from the corner, and the hp shot from the middle, which, imo, is problematic because the field control unit and the ball drop box are at eye level in the middle of the field.

Umm, this is the VEX forum. In case you didnt know, the FVC game is essentially the 2004 FRC game.
As for the HP, look at the field contruction guide. It has diagrams of the entire field. It show the "operator station". The HP can stand anywhere in that area.
