Off-Season Competition Project

Hey guys! I'm working on a little side project, trying to find dates for all of the off-season competitions teams have held. I have quite a few, but am still missing some and am hoping you can help out!

Here's what I have:

Bash@theBeach (2001, 2003, 2004)
BattleCry@WPI (2001, 2003, 2004, 2005)
Baxter Ozark Mountain Brawl (2001)
Beantown Blitz (2003, 2004, 2005)
Brunswick Eruption (2002, 2003, 2004)
Cal Games (2003, 2004)
Canada's Wonderland (2004, 2005)
Chief Delphi Invitational (2001, 2002)
Duel on the Delaware (2002, 203, 2004)
Fall Fury (2003, 2004)
Indiana Robotics Invitational (2003, 2004, 2005)
Kettering Kickoff (2001, 2003, 2004)
Maryland State Fair (2001, 2003)
Mayhem at Merrimack (2005)
Mount Olive Mania (2001)
Mountain Melee (2003)
Pennsylvania Robot Challenge (2003, 2004, 2005)
Rally in the Valley (2003)
Ramp Riot (2003, 2004)
River Rage (2003, 2004)
Robot Rodeo (2003, 2004)
Rumble at the Rock (1997)
San Diego Scrimmage (2004, 2005)
Summer Frenzy (2004)
Sweet Repeat (2001, 2002, 2003, 2004)

Here's what I need:

Any other off-season competitions; especially the BattleCry, Bash, CDI, PARC, IRI, and River Rage competitions that I'm missing. If you have any information, please respond here or IM me (KatieReynolds93 on AIM).

The format should look like this: IRI 2004 6/9/2004 (I just need the first day the competition started)

Thanks!!

SCRRF Summer Classic (Renamed Fall Classic in 2003 or 2004?)
2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 (and perhaps before then as well).

Also, they have held a pre-ship scrimmage (edit: the sunday before ship day) every year.

EDIT: Here's all the flyers I have from their previous events. http://www.csupomona.edu/~dwblack/scrrf/

Yep! I just don't have the dates!
Just giving what I know because Katie is specifically looking for the actual dates of the competitions and had listed that she only needed the dates for 2003 through 2005. Katie and I are working together on the project, though on two separate portions, so I know what's going on.

Also, just to ask everyone who posted the years only, if you could also post the specific dates, ie. month/day/year, I know that Katie would greatly appreciate it!

Re: Off-Season Competition Project

Ooops.

Sorry, I didn't understand the request.

Here is what I have right now, and I will look for the actual date of the 2001 Bash.

Past Bash@theBeach Dates
Saturday October 26, 2002
Saturday September 20, 2003
Saturday October 2, 2004

and it looks like
Saturday October 8, 2005

Do I understand that you are not looking for info any earlier than 2001?

Thanks,
Matt

Cool idea for FIRST history!

Actually, we are looking for dates for any and all off-seasons as far back as possible. I'm not sure If Katie has the information for the earlier ones yet. Hopefully she can clarify that later.

I have a request too. With the project we're working on, I'm collecting data from some official FIRST events. I don't need information about Regionals, Championships, or Kick Offs, but would like to ask for any dates from other official FIRST events such as Founder's and Chairman's Receptions. I already have the dates for the 2003 Chairman's Reception and the 2005 Founder's Reception. If you can provide the names and dates for any events, please post them! I will be very grateful. Thanks!

Team 341 has held Ramp Riot for the past 5 years in the Wissahickon HS Circle Gym.

So that would be 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004.

We've Grown from 7 teams in 2000 to 28 teams last year in 2004!!

Our 2005 Ramp Riot will be held on either 10/29/05 or 11/5/05. We are trying to lock down the date with NASA.

You can check out pictures of past competitions here----> www.team341.com

Come on out to play in our Circle GYM!!!
