Awesome Team 987 Highlight Video

Hey everyone, I've been working on a video highlighting our robot's competition performance and abilities and would appreciate anyone's input It is a work in progress that I will try to finish this week. There is a longer version with footage of our TV interview and the game explanation video, but what everyone can see at the link below is the video we plan to hand out to (at least) all the teams in the Newton division on DVD (well, SVCD).

Comments and Suggestions are greatly appreciated Enjoy

http://www.team987.com/downloads/987Hi.wmv

P.S. The video is about 20megs, should stream well on most broadband connections. Non-broadband, I will try to upload a lower bitrate version for you guys, otherwise see me in Atlanta

Thanks,

Steve

Re: Awesome Team 987 Highlight Video

Thanks Mirza, so no other input anyone? Don't be afraid, I need to start burning these sometime soon if I plan to get 100+ of them done by Wednesday morning. Luckily I have a 52x burner.

I was thinking about adding some more resources to the SVCD's, like useful programs and whatnot, as there will be tons of space left on them and it hurts me to let it go unused . Obviously I could only put redistributable programs on it, or excel sheets, scouting programs etc. Does anyone have any requests/suggestions for this?

Thanks,

Steve

Re: Awesome Team 987 Highlight Video

Hey,
I would love to see your video, but I have dial-up
Anyways, That is a really good idea to hand those out. I have made a video that we gave to potential sponsors and what-not. I am hoping that we can maybe play ours in our pit area so that people can see it. Anyways, good luck and can't wait to see it. GO NEWTON DIVISION!!!!

Re: Awesome Team 987 Highlight Video

I love the video I can tell you guys have a great robot. I know how it feels to be doing really well in a competition and your video definitely captures that all the way to the the regional win. The entire robot looks very sturdy and reliable. Excellent work, and congratulations on making it to Atlanta.

Post Re: Awesome Team 987 Highlight Video

I like it, particularly the music, but I'd suggest to cut back on the footage of your bot capping over and over and over and over again from the same angle and throw in more footage of your team members if you have any on tape. Also if you have any footage from alternate angles or of your robot in autonomous then throw them in for variety. There is some footage of our bots I took in AZ if you're interested at http://dana.ucc.nau.edu/~jps64/files/sf1-2.wmv . Good luck have fun in Atlanta!
