Re: Congratulations to Team #67
Winning the Chairman's Award is greatly deserved by the HOT team 67. This team has been a model for FIRST team for many years. They were CA finalists for a few years in a row, back in 2000-2002.
Looking back at my 9 years as a FIRST mentor for team 45, there are many teams who I have looked up to and admired for their combination of competitiveness, gracious professionalism, community outreach, inspiration to other teams, and maintaining a continuous team partnership. In my opinion, no other team puts this "total package" together better than team 67. Congrats to the HOT Team! It is wonderful to see that this excellent team is now in FIRST's Hall of Fame.
