Starting the semester early does have its advantages.

Back to school, where less is happening per minute than at a FIRST competition.

However. I did have a little homework to do the Sunday I came back, and there was a chemistry test today, and there's a project to do in U.S. History and there are more drawings and a quiz to do in CAD II, AND a new unit started in Space/Earth Science. So, putting it that way, there's much to do.

That's the worst part...I think I've fallen asleep in two classes so far. Not to mention the fact that AP tests are coming up, and I am horribly underprepared.

Re: back to school...tear

Yeah I fell asleep several times in my last 2 classes of the day on monday. Even though I was trying my hardest to stay awake.

Curse you jet lag! lol

And I have a research paper outline that was due... today that I haven't really started yet. I started it on monday but I fell asleep doing it. So my teacher said I could take an extra few days. I just don't want to do it though lol

Re: back to school...tear

i came back to school with very little homework done. (i tried to work on the 8hr bus ride to Atlanta and back...) i'm taking a late grade on a project that was due friday (i'm taking a break from it right now), and i have to make up 3 tests and a quiz. (its amazing how much you can miss in just three days of being absent). one of those tests is absolutely essential.. my teacher told me that if i didnt come in before 8am tomorrow morning and make it up, i'd FAIL his class for the semester. not a great welcome back to Florida... my teachers arent that sympathetic at all. i figured out i was behind in all of my classes, and i'm sort of a slacker by nature but now more than ever i've totally lost all motiviation to do my work. here i was thinking that after robotics was over it would be easier to focus on my schoolwork (and maybe pass my AP exams which are coming up in about 15 days...) but apparently not. i've got a little over a month of school left (i get out the 24th of May)... hopefully in that time i'll be able to find some inspiration to stop procrastinating and maybe i can pull up my grades by then... ^^;

Re: back to school...tear

We don't get out until the 22nd of June. What a waste of summer.

Anyways, I'm trying desperately to catch up/study for the AP tests.

Re: back to school...tear

Ahh, AP tests, why did I have to click this thread and remind myself?!?! Plus there's that Calculus final that I missed for the Championships, kinda have to make that up too. But after that, pure senioritis until June 17.
