I have sent in a request to my mentor Sanddrag. That's actually a really good idea as it might attract more peopel to come since I'm sure there will be a couple of powerhouses there including yourself.

Re: The San Diego Lock-in and Scrimmage

Alright this is great, from what I've heard so far, we wish to have at least 24 teams for obvious reasons like the elimination matches. San Diego Scrimmage is only 3.5 weeks away, we hope everyone recovers from the official season soon so they can attend. Remember May 20th and 21st is only a coupld of weeks before a lot of graduations; how great would it be to spend some quality time down in San Diego doing the thing that most of us are addicted to; ROBOTICS. Hope to see everyone in San Diego!!!

Where can I get more information about the lock-in? Our team went last year but I'm not sure if we're going this year, if not, I might still be up for a drive down just to participate and help out

That's prom for RUHS. Personally, I don't care because I'm not going to prom anyways, but I may have projects to deal with (even my APs are assigning projects in that time period).

Oh you know it! I wish there could be 4 team alliances so it would be those 3 with 330. Anyway, I hope this time we get to play with some of these great teams in the finals instead of having to go against them. If we go against you, it will be a hard fight for both of us but if we are with you, it will be a clean sweep!

I agree! If we go against each other in finals, hope 980 and/or 22 isn't with
330.
We should see if a four motor drive can beat a six motor in speed and pushing power...

I won't be there due to a prior commitment, but I wish I were!

Can we make a rule that they are never allowed to play on the same alliance? Not to single out 980 but I'm just saying one of them is bad (in a good way) enough. If there are twins now we are in for TOTAL DOMINATION! All I can hope for is that we get on that alliance instead of having to go against it. /me is scared

Re: The San Diego Lock-in and Scrimmage

Two 980s vs. 330 would be highly entertaining.

Unfortunately, due to a lack of interest, we will not be going to San Diego. However, we will be at JPL this weekend for at least one day. Hope to see everybody there!

Dont forget that you would need a whole different drive team to operate the second robot...
Still would be cool to see them on the same alliance

While we appreciate the confidence you have in us, I would like to point out that of the 4 operators on the 2 drive teams, only 1 is an experienced operator, and he won't be in his normal role.
